Chispa Arizona: Building Latinx Community Power Through Strategic Creative Identity

Partnership Overview

Chispa Arizona came to Neta Collab with a powerful mission: building Latinx community power for climate justice. They needed creative solutions that would authentically resonate with the Latino community while addressing serious environmental issues for both community members and policymakers.

My Role: Lead Designer & Brand Manager at Neta Collab. Responsible for all visual elements of the campaign, including logo design, branding guidelines, social media assets, and illustrations.

Key Challenges:

  • No cohesive visual identity for their environmental justice campaigns (especially Votando Y Plantando)

  • Balancing bold activism visuals with easy-to-understand content to reach diverse audiences

  • Creating bilingual content that mobilizes advocates and educates communities

  • Culturally competent design that highlights Latinx elements while addressing climate issues
